BMW Welt is one of Munich’s most spectacular event locations, situated directly next to the Olympic Park. It impresses with its striking architecture, innovative design, and international flair. The foyer – Legal tech stage between vision and networking
The light-filled foyer of the Auditorium, covering 450 m², offers an impressive stage for innovation and exchange. In the midst of award-winning architecture and state-of-the-art equipment, legalXchange participants experience an exhibition area that perfectly reflects the spirit of digital transformation. The open structure of the space enables individual booth concepts, interactive presentations, lively networking and a seamless experience which transitions between expert presentations and exhibition.
The Start-up Area – A stage for the future of law
In the Start-up Area, visionary technology meets an innovation-minded audience. Young legal tech companies present their solutions here in an environment that stands for progress and design. For legalXchange participants, the Start-up Area is the ideal place to discover fresh ideas, talk to founders, and experience the future of the legal market live.

The Auditorium
The Auditorium excels with its flexible room layout, state-of-the-art technology and outstanding acoustics – the ideal prerequisites are given for focused listening, lively discussions and professional presentations. The generously sized LED wall and streaming capabilities, as well as a modular stage area and integrated lighting control, make it particularly attractive for formats involving technical content. For participants, this means optimum visibility, high levels of comfort and an inspiring atmosphere.
The break-out stages in the Business Centre on the first floor of BMW Welt also offer a pleasant setting for all kinds of different presentations. With views of Olympic Park and the BMW plant, the Business Centre combines functionality with a flair all its own – a place where technical know-how and innovation come together in style.
Evening events
legalXchange kicks off with welcome drinks at JACOB, one of Munich’s most stylish Mediterranean hotspots. Located in the historic Alte Börse at Lenbachplatz, JACOB combines modern Mediterranean cuisine with a lively bar culture and an extraordinary ambience – ideal for engaging in inspiring conversations and getting to know each other.

By public transit
BMW Welt is excellently connected to Munich’s public transit network:
- Underground (U-Bahn): Line U3 to Olympiazentrum
- Bus: Lines 144, 180, 173, 59, 28 to Petuelring or Am Riesenfeld
- Local rail (S-Bahn): From the airport, take S1 or S8 to Marienplatz, then change to U3 towards Moosach to Olympiazentrum.
By train
By car
Coming from the north:
BMW Welt is conveniently located on Munich’s Mittlerer Ring road. Coming from the A9 (airport), follow the signs for München/Stuttgart/Lindau. Take the München Schwabing exit towards A95/Garmisch-Partenkirchen and continue through the Petuel Tunnel onto Petuelring. Turn right onto Lerchenauer Straße – BMW Welt is on the left-hand side.
Coming from other directions:
Drive onto the Mittlerer Ring road and follow the signs for BMW Welt/Lerchenauer Straße/Feldmoching. The on-site car park has spaces for 552 cars, EV charging stations and video surveillance. Please note the maximum height clearance of 2.00 m.
