Germany’s new
signature event

legalXchange is an internationally orientated professional congress accompanied by a specialist trade fair. It is our aim to turn current developments into something that can be experienced, while enabling a glimpse into the world of tomorrow.

The programme is practice-orientated and serves as the interface between legal expertise and technological competence. We address professionals from both worlds and cover the entire spectrum – from the initial contact with legal tech all the way to the strategic implementation of innovative solutions in major law firms and enterprises as well as in the judiciary and public administration.

What awaits you

legalXchange sees itself as both a gateway and a stage for German and European legal tech providers. In addition, it offers start-ups a stage to showcase innovation and build contacts within the German legal tech market. The event specifically promotes networking within the industry and beyond – connecting law firms, enterprises, the judiciary, public administration, universities and start-ups.

Masterclasses

Deep dive into a specialist topic: In exclusive sessions, industry experts share practical knowledge, technical know-how and concrete strategies for day-to-day work.

Keynotes and panels

Inspiration and foresight: Top minds in the legal sector share their visions and discuss current trends and challenges – concisely and right on point.

Breakout sessions

Small, interactive rounds for intensive exchange. In the breakout sessions, it is possible to discuss specific questions and establish valuable contacts in a personal setting.

Exhibition

Useful tools for everyday work: At the various booths, our exhibitors will be presenting valuable tools for the daily work of legal practice.

Networking

Well connected: No matter whether it’s at the get-together, within the scope of workshops or over a coffee – there will be plenty of opportunities for inspiring dialogues and new connections.

Get-together

A relaxed meet-up: The event kicks off with a refreshing welcome drink. An exclusive flying dinner catered by Feinkost Käfer is a pleasant way to round off a successful first day of the trade fair, accompanied by music to set the mood.

legalXchange’s target groups

legalXchange is a place to meet for all those wishing to optimise legal processes using digital solutions: from law firms and in-house legal counsel to legal tech start-ups and established software providers.
The event offers an inspiring platform for exchange, networking and practical insights for exhibitors as well as for visitors.

The five founding members

Five institutions which stand for excellence and innovative strength have combined their expertise: the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice, the C.H.BECK publishing house, the Legal Tech Association, the Liquid Legal Institute and the Legal Tech Colab of UnternehmerTUM.

Executive board

The legalXchange executive board (LXB) is the driving force behind the event. Nine top minds from the areas of law and compliance have applied themselves to shaping the content, providing impulses for digital transformation and ensuring that current trends and practical topics take centre stage. They have chosen inspiring speakers and curated a programme which promotes exchange and innovation, resulting in an agenda which offers guidance and opens up new perspectives.
